THE HONEYBEE TRIO—TOGETHER AGAIN!After two years, when at times they were often on separate continents, Natalie, Karli, and Sarah—THE HONEYBEE TRIO—is BACK FOR A REUNION SHOW just in time for Mother’s Day! Along with their special guests, The Stingin’ Swing Band, you’ll be taken on a trip down memory lane to the Big Band Era when swing was king! The trio began in October of 2008 when Natalie Angst, Karli Bosler Welch, and Sarah McElwain were only 12 and 13 years old. In the following years they matured into seasoned performers who have continued on their incredible journey together, delighting audiences of all ages from elementary school children to WWII veterans. They have thrilled audiences from the United States to Japan with their beautiful harmonies and entertaining style. In 2014, The Honeybee Trio was put on hold as the girls each contemplated their futures. Sarah finished high school and started her college studies at CSU Northridge. She is now working hard closer to home while getting her degree in Communications. Natalie just got home from her two-year world tour with the Glenn Miller Orchestra as their female vocalist. Since then, she’s filmed a debut Youtube video singing with Postmodern Jukebox and has recently begun performing solo gigs in the Bay Area. Karli went off to Hong Kong for an 18-month mission with her church. Shortly after her return, she was asked for her hand in marriage. The three girls were reunited in 2016 as bride and bridesmaids on her special day. They have come together again with a renewed sense of excitement and an anticipation to see many of their past fans who have journeyed with them for so long, and to meet new fans who will be seeing them for the first time. On Saturday, May 7th 2016, the girls will take the stage at the beautiful 500 seat theater at the Vacaville Performing Arts Center. They have come home. During these performances, audiences will enjoy many Andrews Sisters songs as well as other artists from that era. The shows will feature a combination of favorites from their CD’s “The Best of the Honeybee Trio”, “We Can Sing It!”, and “Flight to the Forties”, and include “Don’t Sit Under The Apple Tree”, “In The Mood”, and other standards made famous at that time. Their Andrews Sisters-style harmonies are guaranteed to please audiences of all ages!
