BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!
The Honeybee Trio will once again enchant local audiences with its special brand of entertainment. Their recent performance at the Vacaville Opera House left many concert-goers stranded without tickets as both shows were quickly sold out. With a demand larger than they were able to accommodate, it was decided it was time for another show! Once again, the group will be increasing their venue size to accommodate expected crowds.
In June, the girls will take to the stage at the newly built Kroc Center in Suisun City. This state-of-the-art facility (which opened in May, 2012) boasts 60,000 square feet of space including a beautiful 300-seat theater.
As the girls contemplate their futures and what their higher education goals and other commitments will bring, they are determined to remain together. Although the opportunities to perform as a trio will become less frequent, they know that the special connection they share (both onstage and off) will be something they will want to return to again and again.
During these performances, audiences will enjoy many Andrews Sisters songs as well as other artists from that era. The shows will feature a combination of favorites from their latest CD “We Can Sing It!” and “Flight to the Forties” to include “Don't Sit Under The Apple Tree” and “Six Jerks in a Jeep” (from the movie Private Buckaroo), along with the established standard “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy.” Their Andrews Sisters-style harmonies are guaranteed to please audiences of all ages!
